Two days ago I went to see the Bombay Bellywood show (BDSS) with my best friend in Valencia (Spain). We were seated on the third row, counting from the stage. Almost at the very final of the show they were making some lovely drum rythms and subtly encouraging the audience to make zaghareets. Few people tried from the other side of the theater’s central aisle. My best friend kept on nagging me to do it too, since she knows I can do the usual Basque irrintzi without problems. Being in a theater, I was so shy and self-conscious I almost didn’t dare. But finally I called a zaghareet, it sounded very loud to me. And a second later Kami answered back.

I felt like I was 15 and my long-time crush had asked me to go out. NO, REALLY, I DID.

But I’d bet on it - you can’t see a line of separate skirts. I am so gonna make/recreate this dress. This year, or the next. Or just sometime before I die, I just don’t care when. But I will sew it.

I still do this every night just before going to sleep.
